Biography

I've been working on my art since I was a teenager. First with landscape and street photography, learning the ways of darkroom "wet work." Once the digital revolution arrived in photography, I joined my father (another accomplished photographer) in embracing it. After law school I became increasingly devoted to the camera and discovered my love for wildlife photography.

I now take photos exclusively and spend thousands of hours each year taking hundreds of thousands of images, distilling them down into a few hundred. Finally, I choose 12 images a year to present to my fans and patrons as limited print runs. Each one receives only ten prints and will never be printed, sold, or distributed again. In this way, I seek to distance myself, and my work, from the digital overstimulation and cheapening of the art. This is my love letter to the days of analogue photography and the artists of the past.
